7. Seals Selection
Hello everybody, I'm AkuAku, level 60 Sniper in Elgore, created this topic to share some knowledge I have gained since I started playing. I choose Sniper class because is a strong class for PvP / PvM / PvE, depending on each build and intended goal, I hope this information is useful to encourage beginners to create a Sniper, which is relatively difficult to play but the class the end result is very satisfactory.
My build is totally focused on performing well in Sieges, with an attack power and resistance compatible with the level of difficulty of opponents. Before start talking about my build, I have to mention some information about the class and the game that are essential for good performance in the game to not waste time and money on unnecessary things.
2. The Profession:
"I will only fight beside the one who will always be at my side, my riffle." - Unknown
The Sniper stands out as a specialist in high-tech long distance weapons, paired with pistols, rifles, mortars, and the Rolands, which are developed weapons to kill your enemies. While other classes use primitive weapons and magic overcome to achieve your goals, we, snipers, we changed the rules on the battlefields.
Use of Mines and Rolands keeps you on the front lines keeping the enemy distracted while you kill all the opponents have healing abilities that can save the allies of death. The major disadvantages are their low levels of survivability and relatively weak AOE skills. The greatest protection for Sniper is distance.
The choice of weapon depends largely on the build you will choose, because each build is based on a different weapon, my build is based on attack speed so use the Handler for its attack speed is higher for snipers, it has 1.3 attack speed, while other weapons have 0.75 to 1.2, this 0.1 difference overlaps the top attack other weapons depending on the final amount of dexterity that you will have, each weapon type has its corresponding skills, the one i found most complete was the rifle because it allows the use of the essential skills for the sniper, it is important that understand Rolands only receive bonus attack speed and critical damage, are not influenced by chance to critical.
3. The Formulas of Damage:
These formulas are the basis for calculating any class, is essential to understand the influence of each variable so that the final result is correct, they are:
1. Potential Damage:
(Attack * CritDamage%)
2. Potential Damage Average:
(Attack * CritChance% * CritDamage%) + (Attack * (100-CritChance%)
3. Potential Auto-Attack DPS:
(PotDamage * Weapon Speed * Attack Speed%)
This shows WHY that Attack is superior to any other variable and attack speed multiplies the speed of the weapon.
Is the essence of Sniper. Accuracy adds 2 attack by point, and 15 additional attack for every 10th point. Essentially, every 10 points of attack is 35 accuracy. To me all sniper must have at least 80 Accuracy as the main basis of the final damage is the Attack, the second most important variable after the Attack is the Attack Speed as you have seen in the damage calculation formulas. The first attribute to be mastered by sniper is surely this, always try to put as much of this attribute on stamps and items.
Increases the sniper attack speed and his Roland X. Dexterity adds 0.25% to a point attack speed, and 2.5% additional attack speed for every 10th point. Essentially, every 10 points of dexterity is 5% attack speed. This attribute is the basis of my build because my build is entirely based on roland, then any accretion in this attribute increases both sniper and roland damage. Also another factor that influences is the ability to apply passive skills in opponents more often, the higher attack speed, the greater the amount of debuff your opponent will pick up.
Increases the health and energy of the Sniper. For each point of Stamina adds 67 health and 15 energy for every 10th point. Essentially, every 10 points of resistance is 670 health and 15 energy. This attribute doesn't need to be closed in a round number, since it's not revelant to Attack Speed, but its the most important in Sieges and PVP, because it will determine the survival capacity in the battlefield. So always try to close the others atributes but not forget stamina, you need at least 70 to get a good result.
Increases the critical strike chance of Sniper. Lucky adds 0.33% chance to crit per point, and 1% crit chance for every 10th point. Essentially, every 10 points of luck is 4.33% chance to crit. This attribute is the least beneficial to build attack speed for the Roland X already has a 30% chance to criticize base, and is not influenced by Sniper's Critical Chance. For this build the Luck serves directly to benefit a skill he calls "Reckless Archer" which will be commented. Always put the least possible in this attribute, but not less than 30.
5. Talent Tree:
All choices are based on good performance in Siege, there are some good skills to PvM, PvE that do not enter into the build, noting that this build is totally focused to be powerful in war. All choices are private and can be changed according to each person's style of play.
Increases the damage done by your "target" spell from 15% to 20%. This skill is very useful against opponents with much HP, essential to kill opponents with great humanoid resistence and defense.
Increases the natural energy regeneration by 50%, with this skill you win +4 stamina, free stats.
Piercing Shot and Blunt Arrow cause Bleeding for 6 seconds, no more than 5 targets.
Increases attack Critical damage dealt by 2% for 5 seconds, max 8 stacks (16%). Best Passive Sniper skill, we must keep at least 30 luck to keep this skill very stack. This skill makes the sniper Attack increase considerably.
apply a cure in a friend target for 3 seconds. Exellent skill to help allies, essential in 4x4 battlefield where you have limited players to give support.
Knowledge of Anatomy:
Provides a random on-hit debuff to the enemy. All three possibilities are quite strong. Essential to build ATKSPD because debuffs are applied very quickly in the Auto-Attack.
The Healing Charge skill has a negative effect on enemies surrounding the target. Decrease the enemy Hit -10 and 40% chance to give 50% of all damage recieved, increase damage taken in enemies and no more than 5 targets.
Rolands have 30% chance to crit. This is the skill that will make your roland have an extreme damage, Luck attribute does not influence the chance of critical Roland X.
Proximity Mine apply stun in targets for 1 second. Great defensive tool, but it seems one second can save your skin.
Burr and Proximity Mine of 50% Increased damage. The mine is a highly OP skill on the battlefield, depending on where you place it, it can determine who is the winner.
Increases the power of Wound Dressing by 15%. Very good on the battlefield as it increases the survivability of your character.
Roland health is Increased by 30%. Leaving it far more resistant than the actual Sniper.
Does more damage than you.
50% chance for Auto-Attacks to bounce once. Reliable damage increase on 2+ targets. Pulls additional mobs if not careful.
Increase Sniper damage by 7% if your target is more than 7m away from you.
Fragmental Shot, Cannonade and Explosive Shot can be critical.
Full Metal Bullets:
Adds a small on-hit damage bonus to all abilities. Amazing free damage boost, though small amount, results in good DPS.
Precise Shot decreases enemy armor by 20% for 10 seconds. This skill is highly required against DK's and Cruzaders with high defense rate, very useful on the battlefield.
Here is the grid of skills that currently use, usable items I put on the right of the screen.
7. Gear Selection
This session will put in order of importance some options of equipment and those first are the best in my opinion, noting that the build is geared to wars, one tip is to create a female char not to have limitation to use the items from the following list:
1. Vallen's Arrow:
411 defense, luck +4, Attack +24. Drops from Saint Vallen's Day Event. (Extremely hard to get.)
2. Hat of the Wild Buffalo:
