Note to both Masters: Always look in the nearby locations of these red dots because they walk a bit.

Elites? of course

Boss?... not a chance :S, some people in the past used to solo rat queen, now with all the new upgrades.. i don't know.

Yeah, the only bosses you can solo are Beastbane, Rat Queen, Dark Shaman and Ancient Treant. But 80% of the elites you can solo, i guess the tough ones are Mega Irex, Frogster, Rat #13 and Dark Carabus now.

Depend on their random ability some elites are really hard to kill now, even the easy one like former recruit or rich ghoul can kill any 60s if they are not careful.

 

As for the bosses they are still the same as before the patches nothing change.

 

Rat queen too many competitor, ancient treant need a lot of work to kiting it, beastbane takes a lot of time if you doing it solo.

Before the last patch - yes the majority of elites could be done solo (some were really hard but manageable at least in some builds) but now...

I guess it depends on what time of day you go for Rat Queen.There is almost never someone there when I go and play with the Queen.

Sniper level 56, using 2 turrets and the roland planted, using aiming, target and the debuff skill.

Stun with headshot+leap and mines, use skills (temoralshot...), Repeat

Low HP? Stun +woud dressing and some potions.

 

If i can do it everyone can do it.

Good point, but snipers can still use 2 more Rolands.

Nah even if you have more rolands it would not help, After the patches even Sorc having a hard time to tank  an elite I dont believe you can do better.

Just today I saw a level 60 sniper died in one hit by Rich Ghoul.

In terms of middle lvl elites the random affixes may indeed happen to be OK and it would be possible to kill an elite solo. But only if you are lucky with them. if not - no chances. even for a well-forged sniper.

 

And, correct me if i am wrong, but even ordinary alphas just ignore rollads' knockback - they ignore everything - taking an 'almighty' sorcerer as an example - even ordinary alphas ignore force fields, fire walls - mages are totally undefended with them

Yup roland's knockback is ignored by elites,  but you miss the important part, while they are active they can "tank" the elite, having 2 "tanks" attacking and reciving the damage and using skills and mines will, most likely, make you win, at least that's how i deal with monsters too hard for me to solo. 

 

Having 3 helping hands (Rolands) and making a wise strategy with traps is really helpful.
